shape and style
Once you have decided on the location and available space for your new shower enclosure, you will need to decide on the shape. Each type has pros and cons that you need to consider carefully before buying a case.

walk-in shower
Walk-in showers are growing in popularity and are the ultimate in bathroom luxury. They look super sleek and stylish and help create a focal point in your new bathroom or bathroom upgrade. A walk-in shower is a great addition to a wet room. One of the advantages of this style is that they are easy to maintain and keep clean. This is because there are no seals or fittings that can collect dirt or residue.
Quadrant Shower Room
If you're short on space, a quadrant shower might be a great solution. Sleek curves add a modern touch to any room, and the curved shell won't restrict space in the shower. Quadrant showers require less floor space; however, they must be installed in the corners of the room. If you prefer curved doors, but prefer an alternative placement, a "D-shaped" enclosure may be a more appropriate choice.
Rectangular shower room
Often referred to as a rectangular or dual shower head, it is a popular choice and can provide a great shower experience due to the amount of space provided. They're perfect for large bathrooms and help make a design statement. For customers with limited mobility, rectangular shower enclosures may be perfect as they offer plenty of room to maneuver.
Square shower room
Practical and space-saving, square shower enclosures look great in smaller bathrooms or suites. This compact option is versatile and can be paired with a variety of door types and accessories.
Door
After you've chosen an enclosure, you need to think about what kind of doors you want and how you want them to open. This usually depends on your available space and the layout of the room.
slide
Sliding doors are great for larger shower enclosures, such as rectangular or quadrant shapes, and they're also great for saving space.
foldable
The bi-fold doors open inwards, making them ideal for compact bathrooms with limited space.
hinged
Hinged doors provide maximum opening into and out of the shower. For smaller rooms, doors that open outwards may be blocked by another piece of bathroom furniture. In this case, a pivot hinge may be the most suitable option. Pivot hinge reduces opening.

finishing touches
It's important to consider your family's needs when choosing the finishing touches, such as glass thickness and finishes. For example, families with young children may want to invest in thicker glass to ensure it is durable and can withstand knocks and bumps. Usually shower doors are 6mm, but 8mm tempered glass is also available.
If you don't want to spend time cleaning, you can choose to invest in easy-to-clean glass. Although more expensive in most cases, this special coating prevents residue, water spots, and the build-up of oil and limescale. Most glassware comes standard with easy-to-clean glass.
