waterproof

First of all, the most important thing is waterproofing. The waterproofing of toilets is one of the most important concealed works. The shower must be at least 1.8 meters high, and it is best to cover the wall just in case.

Glass and shower curtain

There is no standard answer to the question of whether to use glass partitions or shower curtains. Everyone has their own preferences. Some people think that the glass is good, the separation between wet and dry is more thorough, and the water will not run around; others think that the shower curtain is good, cheap and easy to clean, and does not occupy space.

I personally prefer the glass partition because I do n’t like the whole bathroom wet.

There are two approaches to shower drainage. One is the more common tile laying. The most important thing is that the whole tile should be sloped to the direction of the floor drain. This general tile laying mason has experience.

There is also a kind of stone you may have seen in the bathroom of the hotel. There is a stone in the middle of the shower room. There is a slit in the stone for the diversion groove. The depression is all around for drainage. The position of the floor drain should be the lowest point.

Of course, this approach also has limitations. First, the location of the floor drain must be close to the side. If the sewer pipe of the house itself is not on the side, it needs to be changed when making water and electricity, and if the sewer position is changed, if the hydroelectrician forgets to consider the installation depth of the floor drain, it may cause the deodorant floor drain to not be installed. It is of course the best if it is more than 12 centimeters. It is very important to deodorize after all.

Water barrier

Whether it is a glass partition or a shower curtain, I personally think that a water-retaining strip is needed. Even if a shower curtain is used, the water-retaining strip can solve a large part of the problem of water overflow and keep the floor of the rest of the bathroom dry to a certain extent.

Water-retaining strips are generally made in two ways, one is self-made, which is usually made of shower curtains, and is more picky in style, suitable for rural, Mediterranean and other styles.

Another is to directly buy the finished water-retaining strip, which is usually made of artificial stone or other materials. Glass shower partitions are basically used in this way. It is best to bury it in the middle of the tiles when laying the tiles, so that the water blocking effect will be better. If it is later glued to the tiles with glass glue, it may seep through water after a long time.

Yuba

It should be reminded here that if you choose a lamp heater, install it directly in the shower room; if you choose a fan heater, install it outside the shower room. Turn it on for 5 minutes before taking a bath.
